The new audio elements will make it easier for readers to become listeners, and for listeners to return to the articles, sources, projects, and conversations behind each broadcast.
New Jingles On Air
We have also begun introducing new Sonic Civil Alert jingles into the radio stream.
These short audio pieces will play approximately every 20 minutes, alongside the technical test jingles already in rotation. They help give the station a clearer identity while signposting the topics, writing, projects, and wider purpose behind Sonic Civil Alert.
You may hear references to community media, mutual aid, circular economy, housing, food, education, rights, wellbeing, ethical A.I., Universal Basic Income, and other themes that connect Inverclyde with wider international conversations.
The station is still evolving, and these new elements are part of that process: testing, learning, refining, and gradually building a more coherent listening experience.
